Medicare Supplements are health insurance policies sold by private health insurance companies to fill in the “gaps” in Medicare, the federal health insurance program for people 65 years of age or older.

While Medicare covers much of your healthcare, you could be responsible for many costs, including prescription drugs, deductibles and coinsurance.  Medicare Supplements, sometimes called Medigap Insurance, can help you pay for some of those costs.
